Zagrabie Vineyard
Just 20 km from Krakow, in the town of Rybna, there is a small local vineyard, where grapevines are grown in harmony with nature, and wine is produced from the harvested crops.
The vineyard grows at an altitude of 320m above sea level. at the western end of the Tenczyński hump – the southern part of the Kraków-Częstochowa Jurassic.
The vines cover the slope of the south-west, it grows on clay and loess soils on a limestone foundation, which gives the local wines a unique character.
The cultivation does not use herbicides, and all work and treatments on the vineyard are carried out by hand, using the best practices recognized in organic farming in order to minimize the amount of protective treatments used.
