The vineyard was founded in 2018. It is adjacent to the 19th-century Palace in Cianowice, just 15 km from Krakow. It was built on the initiative of Bronisław Dobiecki during World War I and was burnt down. Today, restored, together with a landscape park, it covers approximately 11 ha of land. He belongs to the Association of the Krakow Jury. During World War II, it was a shelter for Jewish families, partisans and supplies. In 1945, the palace was taken over by the State Treasury and adapted for school purposes.
